PBS occasionally reports the truth, and there is nothing a conservative is more terrified of than the truth.

Reality has a Liberal bias.

To receive federal funds, PBS is supposed to report a balanced view of world events and politics. Sadly, they have decided to broadcast with a decidedly liberal bias. This has and should restrict their support from the federal budget. The ball is in their court; if they return to balanced broadcasting, I am sure there will be an opening of the federal wallet. Or, they can continue as they are, and SUCK WIND.

I don't know why, I have my opinions, but they would create controversy... I just hope that if he does do something this stupid that they cut the dumb@$$ shows like "Dragonfly TV" and the children's documentaries. I have a young son who watches PBS every morning and those shows have some of the best learning characteristics. I would hate to have to switch over to something like Nick Jr. because their shows promote child speech problems and stereotypes. (Watch "Wonder Pets")

I think the *real* question is, why does our tax money support PBS at all, since they are so biased?

The PBS station here dropped two EXTREMELY left-wing shows about a year ago, and the liberals went CRAZY. Don't think they would have cared at all if PBS had dropped conservative shows.

I didn't think that PBS received any funds from the government? I thought it was all private funds? I think that is the way it is here.
