I need to find a book that's spiritual in a sense. I want something that's fiction though, like spiritual fiction, if you know what I mean something on the lines of the movies like PI, The Matrix or The Fountain, I want those types of books, but fiction.

I would recommend Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. The author is German but this book is "Beyond the obvious lessons about the nature of Hinduism and Buddhism, Siddhartha can assist students as an early step on a journey toward wisdom"...if you're not interesting in Hinduism or Buddhism then "No exit" by Jean Paul Sartre. This is a very short play, so simple and so insightful...have fun reading.

I think Frank E. Peretti is a great fictional Christian writer. You can check his books out. Piercing the Darkness and This Present Darkness are great. He's got loads of books. Check him out. I also like Francine Rivers.

Francine Rivers has a three book series about a gladiator. It's really good. "Voice in the wind", is the first book I really enjoyed it and so did my husband. We read it together
