I grew up in the country...knew alot of farmers...but I never knew one that dressed their scarecrows for dinner!

no i have not. in my experience, farmers are usually very rural and pride themselves on their simplicity. I know you intended this question as a joke, but as a joke, it was such a failure I felt I had to address it as a serious statement.
