Where can I get a nice dress that's not over the top w/crazy sparkles, but is also no more than $150?

You should go to Sears,Macy's,JcPenny,or go to the mall and look around you could find one.

If you're on a budget or would just like a good bargain, try ebay. Last year my teen went to several formal occasions. I purchased 2 Jessica McClintock dresses (purple satin ballgown and black/white satin coctail dress) for just $20 each. We found a Jessica McClintock satin purse for $12 at a Shoe Show, of all places! She loves the dresses--they were brand new with tags. Then we purchased another dress that we paid full price for --$330, and my daughter likes the ebay dresses better. Good luck--there are great bargains out there!
