Yes, Whole Foods has them, but there isn't a Whole Foods in the Cedar Hill area (at least not on the WF site), so you might try looking for other health food or natural food stores in your specific area. The Central Market web site was not helpful in determining if they carry edamame or not, but it might be worth a phone call. Also, Tom Thumbs are trying to compete in the organic market, so they may be worth checking. I know I have seen them somewhere recently. Here are the stores I haunt: Walmart Neighborhood Market, Albertson's, Kroger, Whole Foods, Tom Thumb. When you call the stores, be sure to ask for the produce manager; the regular clerks will likely not know what edamame (or possibly even soybean) is.

Most grocery stores carry frozen Edamame these days. The Richardson area is full of Oriental Grocery stores, but you shouldn't have to go that far. There are some pretty posh neighborhoods in Cedar Hill . . . surely there's a grocery store to match.

Try Whole Foods. Many more regular grocery stores are also stocking these in the frozen section.
