Hi, yes if true friends they should understand the reason for rejection, in life friends are always there 4 u but it cant get 2 intimate cause then problems arise and u end up losing your friend. Tell your friend your friendship is too precious too take any chances and accept that you will always be true friends and nothing else.

One can have friendship after a sexual relationship. My former girlfriend and I have been friends for twenty years and are actually godparent's to our respective children. My wife and her husband are not aware that we were lovers - they believe we were just friends from University
