Wrap it in paper or a card so that it isn't evident there is cash in the envelope and won't be bothered with.
Most people won't send cash other than in a birthday card as there is no way to trace cash if it goes missing or is recieved and not acknowledged.

No, it's not illegal but it is not the smartest thing to do. If the letter gets lost or stolen, if the truck it is carried on happens to crash or burn, the money is gone and you have no way of getting it back. If you must do it this way I would get a money order or cashiers check. That way you have a reciept and at least some recourse if the envelope does not get delievered. I would also send the money via certified letter. Again you have some recourse if it does not get delivered.

Send in big bills. Wrap it completely in paper so that you cannot see the contents if you hold it up to the light. Tape the flaps shut.
No it's not illegal, but definitely not safe. If I were you, I would get a P.O. money order, or a certified check from your bank. Something that you track and cancel if it got stolen before it received it's destination.

You can send money in an envelope but if you spray the bills with starch it makes it easier to mail

You can do it. But I'd put it in a card within the envelope. Or, even better, write a check.

You can send money in an envelope at your own risk. If it goes missing, you lose

it's not illegal, but if your sending money that you owe someone they could easily say that they never got it, even if they did, then you would still owe them the cash.
