I've only heard it from like 2 people in my life. Is it an Arizona thing?

I totally agree with "gee" being a shortened form of "Jesus."

Kind of like how people say "darn" instead of "damn" or "oh my goodness" instead of "oh my god."

Still, "Oh my gee" just sounds so strange.

I say that expression sometimes! i didnt think it was that weird. For me, it's more like "Oh my G!". As a catholic, I try to avoid calling God's name, so I cut the od out and just say G. =)

My parents once told me that the word "gee" came from "Jesus" and that it was used so that you don't really curse. So instead of saying "oh my god" maybe it morphed into "oh my gee"...
