Favre to Chicago for Urlacher, Griese and the Bear's first round draft pick
Green Bay needs to cash in their chips on Favre now and begin to enter the Aaron Rogers era, if they ride Favre to the ground they'll be left with nothing at all for him next year. Getting Griese would let them keep a veteran around to tutor him, and of course Urlacher is a force across the whole middle of the field.
Chicago needs a reliable, experienced, gunslinging QB worse than anything, and they wont be able to address that need in the draft - if they want to make it back to the SB next year they need to retool and do it now. Their defense system is great, and they'll be a force even without Urlacher - and it will be much easier to replace him right away with the top second-round pick than it would to draft a playtime-ready QB.
Seems both teams have what the other needs to get to the next level.

I think it would be a good trade for Green Bay but a bad one for Chicago. Taking Farve would help improve Grossman but than you loss Urlacher, who is a big part of their defense and a young player. Farve is one of the best QB's of all time but he is also nearing the end of the road. Thus equalling to Chicago not getting their money worth.

The Bears would never be stupid enough to go through with this one. Favre has at most two seasons left in the NFL while Urlacher is one of the most dominant players in the game. To give up Griese and a first rounder is too much. I wouldn't do it Urlacher for Favre straight up. There is simply no way Jerry Angelo and the Bears would consider this trade.

The only way that trade would go through is if the Bears GM hit happy hour a little to hard!!! Favre should have hung up his pads a few years ago. He still is better then Grossman, but his body is breaking down by the min. also he is an interseption waiting to happen.
Urlacher is in the prime part of his playing days. He is the heart of the def. why would they trade him for a has been, plus give up a #1 pick. I don't think I could drink enough to make that trade.

That's is ridiculious. That would fly with ANY GM. Favre first off is coming off 2 of his worst seasons yet. Not to mention his retirement talks the past 2 seasons. And you want the bears to give up Urlacher? Urlacher is a pro bowl LB who seeems to make big plays all the time. Not to mention he is still pretty young. And you want to the to give up their 1st round pick? Let's be honest the bears do need a new QB but they can easily get one during the draft.
This trade would definitely be a no.

I think you would get fired in chicago as the GM. You dont trade the best middle linebacker in football for a Hall of fame QB in his waning years. If you lose Urlacher you lose the heart of that defense. Favre would have to put up 24-27 points a game to win every week. There is never any gaurantee in drqaft picks so you don't know what you are getting there.

This would be a bad trade for Chicago. Urlacher, is the face of the organization just like Favre is for Green Bay (at least for one more year). Besides I couldn't imagine Chicago trading their best defensive player for a QB past his prime even though he is a legend.

being traded between the Packers and the Bears is strange already, but Favre for Urlacher? come on, that's insane. Considering that Rex Grossman by many standards is coming off a "rookie" season. one who made it to the super bowl by beating the Saints might I add. Urlacher is a future hall of famer playing the best position for his team, and has many years of solid, pro-bowl talent. Favre is a once very bright, but dim candle...

Do you live in Green Bay? Favre is so over the hill and as much as I hate Urlacher- he's a dominant defensive player in his prime.

I'd do that in a second as The Green Bay GM! The Bears would be getting the shaft. Giving up way too much for a legendary QB who's best days are behind him

If the Chicago GM pulled off this trade, he would be shot. That is way too high a price to pay for Favre, who will only be around for 1 more year at most.
