A question/problem with MP3 players?

Question

Is it pretty much mandatory for your computer to have Service Pack 1/2 in order to install your MP3 on your computer? If not, MP3 players don't require this?

not sure what you're talking about, but some computers need to be installed with certain software that comes with the mp3. also, the mp3 might have some requirements that need certain computer software. some mp3s you can just plug it in to the computer, but still need the certain computer system
