Probably because your circulation has slowed right down and maybe your blood sugar dropped too if you haven't eaten for awhile. It happens to me to. I am off to bed now so will bid you goodnight and may you have sweet dreams x

I suggest getting some sleep. It is cold, and that might be making you shiver. You're probably just tired

Your body's core body temperature drops when you sleep. Sounds like you're really tired and should go to bed ASAP. (This same thing happens to me if I have to wake up in the middle of the night)

Agreed. When you get tired, your body is kind of slowing down. So you need some sleep.
