First of all, I see that your grammar check is broken. Second of all, I thought that Heavy Metal was a movie. Last, no it is not dead. It is actually in hiding until all the emo kids go home and cry.

i think so. some of the best metal bands were back in the 70s , 80s and early 90's e.g. metallica megadeth iron maiden and black sabbath
