On February 8, 2007, Smith was found unresponsive in a room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. At 1:38 (18:38 UTC) Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said a nurse called the hotel front desk, who in turn called security, who in turn called 911, and at 1:45 p.m. a bodyguard administered CPR before she was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital at 2:10 p.m and pronounced dead upon arrival at 2:49 p.m. Smith's boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, was with her when she died and has reported to Entertainment Tonight that her temperature was running high the night before.

I think it is so sad because she just had a baby 5 months ago.I feel for that child.I know she was a troubled spirit and it saddens me that she didn't get it right before leaving the planet.My heart went out to her when she lost her oldest child recently because no parent (good or bad) wants to know the pain of losing a child.Now my heart aches for that precious little girl she left behind.Sure Anna Nicole was not a great role model,but a person non the less,and it saddens me even deeper that people can be so cruel and insensitive as to speak ill of the dead.Let's all hope and pray that all of those people so called judge and jury) get it right before they make their exit.Who are they to judge any one? Lest they too be judged.

Sad to see any human die. However, over the past god knows how many years, she had been doped up pretty good... so it wasn't really much of a surprise. Very sad about her young daughter, still a newborn too.

Lets see how quickly they get a DNA test done to find out who the daughter's father really is. With the debate over both men, the DNA test will have to be done to decide where the baby will live.

It's so sad. I can't believe how many people seem to care about the money. She was a person, not a bank. I know she wasn't perfect, but who is? I think she should get some respect in death. It's too bad she didn't have a more peaceful life. Well, thanks for reading.

I don't think she'd kill herself or O.D. knowing she has that little baby girl she'd be leaving behind. But who knows ? She was a little flaky...so maybe she caused herself to die. We'll find out sooner or later, I'm sure. I feel sorry for the baby. Or maybe she'll be better off, but I doubt it. I guess AnaNicole's with Daniel and that old Tycoon she was married to...what's his name ? Still...I was shocked and saddened to hear about her death. May she rest in peace.

I really feel sorry for the baby girl that she is leaving behind. It's really tragic that she will grow up not knowing her mom, and knowing the whole world is familar with her mother will probably be emotionally damaging in some way.

I THINK SOMEONE HAS A HAND IN THIS, CAUSE THE SON OF THE OLD MAN WHOM DIED ALSO DIED UNEXPECTLY AND ANNAS SON DIED AND NOW SHE DIED.SOMEONE IS MONEY HUNGRY. ALSO MY DAUGHTER LIVES DOWN THE STREET FROM WHERE SHE WAS TAKEN AFTER SHE PASSED AWAY. ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT ANNA IS THAT WHEN PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT, PEOPLE SURE MAKE FUN OF THEM. BUT FROM WHAT IVE READ, SHE WAS NO DUMB BUNNY AND JUST BECAUSE SHE STRIPPED AND WAS A PLAYBOY BUNNY, DOES NOT MAKE HER A BAD PERSON, MY DAUGHTER STRIPPED FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND IS VERY SMART AND HAS A LIFE. SO YOU ALL NEED TO THINK BEFORE MAKING JUDGEMENT ON SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT.

i don't think she killed herself...even if she had all these problems there was still hope because of her baby...i just hope this time there should be a thorough investigation compared to what happened to her son...justice should prevail!

I think that she ODed because she was dealing with so much stress after the loss of her son and her court dealings and everything. It's pretty sad.
