My favourite type of music is the type of music which has the power to make you feel good, and really grabs you. This is not restricted by category or genre, it is something fundamental and can occasionally be found in the work of gifted artists who are real. By contrast you have the world of fakery, pop idol, opo music, method written souless junk etc.

Punk music and techno music, but I'll listen to anything with a good beat. Also like rock, some metal, some reggae, 80's music, classic rock......the only two categories I never have been known to listen to are rap and country.

From Handel to hip-hop to house
From Liszt to Led Zep to Linda Ronstadt
