Is it just me or do a great portion of commercials with black women in i have a good portion of them with their natural hair?
I see more black women with their natural hair in commericials than I think I have ever seen in a movie or tv show

I agree.
Im also natural, and as a matter of fact, Im going to the salon in 2 days to have the rest of my relaxer cut off. And people are always so surprised when I tell them Im natural, especially women who aren't, because believe or not, Black natural hair grows longer, healthier, and feels alot better to the touch than unnatural hair.
So I love all the natural commercials, I see more and more women going natural; which is good. = )

Well, it's good to be natural, and break stereotypes like us always wearing weaves and tracks, like we don't have beautiful hair underneath it. We just put too many chemicals in our hair more than others, that it breaks off. You an grow your hair if you want by limiting perms, and not using too much shampoos. Use little of everything. I have long hair, and I am mistaken for a Puerto Rican or Dominican at times, but I say proudly, I'm Black. People are amazed, but honestly, there are Black girls who hair is even longer. Not that hair is such an issue, but anyone can have good hair, just cuz there are different textures, doesn't mean anything less.

You cant sell an image of women wearing horse hair. You have to go for the majority.
