I believe Sade is talking about a girl who didn't have much and in order to get what she wanted, she would prostitute herself.

Perhaps there is a link to the biblical princes Jezebel (see wikipedia), who caused a lot of pain to the Jewish kingdom. Since then, in some areas "Jezebels" is equivalent to "prostitutes" and "Jezebel s" an equivalent to "brothel"... so it could indeed be a generically addressing "a" prostitute... But what the real story behind is, I also don t know, and I was trying to find out... Sade might never reveal that, letting us guess :-)

The Jezebel spirit, as all seductive spirits, bring false doctrines into the church world that allow or endorse or justify sin in some way. Gnosticism justified sin by taking it away with the superspiritualizing of the flesh, and the Jezebel spirit justifies it by it coming from an authority figure in the church, a prophetess.
