Idle sensor?? Never heard of that one.Have you unplugged the coolant sensor??That may affect the idling.If this is what you have unplugged --when you unplugged the coolant sensor for the computer,your computer is reading that your engine is super cold and it supplements more fuel to the engine.Hence the different idle.

I have been a mechanic for years and after reading that question several times, I have no idea what you are asking and which sensor you are unplugging and plugging off!!! Get the proper names for things and re-ask the question. Which sensor are you unplugging and why would you do this in the first place?

If you are unplugging the idle air control motor,which is located on the side of the throttle body.It will stay at what ever position it happens to be in,and normally will run.If it stops running after you plug it in,it made be shorted inside.I would take this to a qualified mechanic,it will save you money in the long run.
