if you got a new bluetooth enabled laptop then everything should be installed already, try to search for it with your bluetooth phone and see if it finds the laptop, if not look in the control panel and network connections and there may be an option to enable bluetooth, i sold my bluetooth laptop a while ago but if i remember correctly i had to enable it in the control panel somewhere. sorry i cant be more helpful

I m confused about yoru question, if you are installing bluetooth software then you must have a bluetooth device (ex: Bluetooth keyboard or mouse or any other external device). If you don't have any bluetooth device then don't install the software as you don't need it.

it is the device or wireless device such as the type used on cell phones headsets. if you don't know what it is, then why are you installing the program???????? there is nothing that is blue tooth in your computer. you don't need to install the program. if you happen to by a device that is blue tooth capable, then you can install the program. basic thing to do when getting a new computer is that if it comes with extra software and you aren't going to use the software, then don't install it.

Bluetooth is a way to send information wirelessly. A bluetooth device is any device that receives this information-- it's usually a cell phone, hands-free headset, printer, etc.

It's the bluetooth compatible device you are wanting to interact with the computer ie ( cellphone, printer, keyboard). It wants you to turn on the power to that device.
