when there is a shower scene and the person in the shower goes to turn the water off -- the handles ALWAYZZZ squeak?

It's the signal to let the psychopathic killer know that it's time!

I guess it's just scarier than silence. Then, next time you run into a run-down motel and turn off the water, when the handle squeaks you panic!

To see if they're going to "squeak" by or have more scenes later in the movie?

I guess there has to be a sound to compare to the silence, so it's a lot scarier. When the handle bar squeaks, you know the person's gonna die. It's pleasant, really.

Because it captures the mood.Every horror movie has its classic nudity scene its like mandatory.The slightest sounds and details is what makes those movies so great.It makes the film believeable.
