Even though you put in a new batt. in it still try to jump it with another vehicle or really good jump pack. I have a 91 1500 w/200020k and when it gets below zero it will not turn over well but it does not click. Make sure your batt. contacts are really good, clean 'n' tight. Also your starter could be frozen. W/my 1500 last season when it would not turn I put a ceramic heater against the block and after three hours it started right up. You could always just install a Block/oil heater.

Your battery is either dead, or has a bad connection, and can't supply enough power to the starter. The click is the solenoid engaging the starter onto the flywheel, without enough power to actually turn the starter motor. If you have a bad connection at the battery terminal, or a bad ground strap (from engine to frame), the same thing can happen.

Yep, that'll help. Also, get a couple of 100 watt trouble lights and place them next to the engine. That should help too.

Be aware that a frozen cooling system means that you will have problems after it thaws. Could have a cracked block, cracked heads or blown head gasket. Don't try to start it until you are sure it has no ice in the system. Ice remaining in the water pump will damage the pump or smoke the belt.

Good luck

Try to get a boost if that works you know its your battery ..cuz it kind of sounds like your battery ....but you know what x..sps...x is probably right. You can hear the car usually trying to start if it is your battery, yours only clicks...which did happen to me once, it would be your starter...Sorry Trying to help..but I know nothing bout cars

I would bet you have a bad connection some place. Check the conections at the battery. Also check the chasis ground and the conections at the starter.

That's not that cold and the vehicle can't freeze unless you have straight water in your engine. If battery is good then it should be your starter.

that happened to my hubby a few days ago, he had to take the battery inside to warm up for a few hours we charged it and put it back in, and it started right up.
