I just moved to Singapore and will be here for two years. I'm not able to find any stores that carries Size 41/10 shoes for women. I went to many shoe stores in Bugis Junction and Plaza Singapura and the largest size carried is Size 40/9. Are my only options are to order online? Oh no! Please only serious responses. Thank you!!

OK, Ivy. Here's what I found for you. This is link to the Singapore expatriots forum, which is for folks like you to ask all kinds of stuff about living in Singapore. I did a search for 'large shoes' and got quite a few hits. I'm linking you to the main site, the first search, in the beauty & health section, and then the results of one search, which mention 2 shoe stores, Charles & Keith, and Pedal Works. Anyway, this site might come in really handy for you for all kinds of things. I like forums because you carry on a conversation. Anyway, here are the links:

Good luck from a 5'10" size 10 shoe girl who sympathizes ;-)

Try stores like Salvatore Ferragamo in Orchard Rd (Paragon, Takashimaya). I know the U.S. stores stock shoes of a wide range of sizes. The Singapore store probably does the same- even if they don't, it might be possible to order the size you want through them.

You can try Clarks shoes too. You can probably find these at Bata.

Good luck!

Size 41 is not uncommon, did you try the footwear section at major departmental stores?

The prices from the following are quite alright:

1) OG (Albert Complex, Orchard Point, Peoples Park http://www.og.com.sg )
2) Metro (various location http://www.metro.com.sg )
3) Tangs Studio at Centrepoint Orchard
