Just a first and middle, think of the standerdized testing. There is not enough room to write two names, plus kids will tease him. I would have, I mean come on it's as stupid as making up a name or screwing up the spelling of a normal name.

It is more common in other countries then in the United States. My niece's name was named Eva Marie Mae Johnson and I thought that was a lot but who cares! Just because it's not as common doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. Do whatever you want. Coincidently, it's probably more common than you think because my former job consisted of me viewing applications and I saw women and men names having two or more middle names and I did that for seven years so I know what I'm talking about. :) So go for it!
As far as standardized test goes and it's requesting for a Middle Intial, then it you put the first letter of the first middle name listed. Really it's not a big deal. Just be prepared to have the second middle name not represented or seen as much on some. I also reviewed or audited FBI fingeprint cards and it's not like it's a red flag or whatever. Just letting you know my experience.

It doesn't cause any real problems. I have two middle names (one of which my family uses instead of my first) The only time it becomes an issue is when filling out forms that only have provisions for one middle name and in my case, not being able to fit my entire name on my driver's license. Other than that, its just another thing that makes you interesting. People think its weird that I have two middle names.

I never understood how you'd fill out paperwork with two middle names, or what your initials would be, but I know a few people who have given their kids two middle names. If they are the right names, it doesn't sound awkward.

I gave my son 2 middle names and i do not regret doing so.
Now there are some people that will give a kid 4 or more middle names and that is just way to much.
But 2 is fine.

Yeah no problem with it, it's more unique. Some cultures have more then that even. Don't worry about Standardized testing, people in that case put the intial of their first middle name. Don't go with anymore names then that though.

That is totally up to you. I gave both of my kids 2 middle names, and have been told that I am crazy and they are going to have a horrible time in school. But my 3-year-old son knows all four of his names: Devett Lloyd Garrison Douglas. If the child starts sounding like English royalty, it might be getting out of hand, like with my niece, whose mother was...well...a bit...uh...exessive: Savannah Elizabeth Aryn Douglas Levee.

I have two middle names - i hate it. On all my "official" documents and legal stuff i am forever writing out my name - drives me crazy. Going through school with them was a pain too. Not to mention i hate one of my middle names (not to fussed about the other) so i try to avoid using it as much as possible.
But its your choice of course!

No, I know TONS of people with two middle names. Hey, if I can't decide on certain names someday, I may do that.
