any good ideas for an origin myth?

I am doing a report and i Need some ideas for an Origin myth. How something came into being.

In greek mythology there are a lot of these myths.
First
Arachne was a beautiful girl who was talented in weaving. She made a big false, she said that she is the best in weaving , even better than the godess Athena. The goddess is getting angry. They made a competition in weaving and Athena is the winner. After her victory, Athena revenged this insult. She turned the girl in a creature who weaves and weaves but her creations always are destroyed. She turned her into a spider. In greek arachne.

and a second story
Zues fell in love with a beautiful girl Alcyone. They were happy together, but Zues' wife Hera was too jealous and transforms the girl in a seabird the Alcyone. Zues was too sad , but he couldn't help her. He only made a hot week in the winter , like summer in the winter to help her in giving birth to her children. In Greece there are some days in winter that the weather is too nice and warm and a little bird Alcyone have her eggs. We call these days Alcyonian Days.

1.starfish-stars fell from the sky
2.lava-the sun was in a mountain when came out some of it stayed
3.wind-Zues(if ur doing greek mythology)made holes with his thunderbolts and hasrh blowing air came to earth thruogh them

Start with dirt coming out of the sea, and from the dirt came life. Man and beat lived in perfect harmony, until man grew greedy, power hungry and spiteful, and was banished from the animal kingdom.
