There are many possible reasons for anxiety
Herbal suplementation is just one way of dealing with this condition.

Herbs such as Vallerian Root, Camomile, Catnip can all be prepeared as a tea. Valerian root comes also in gel capsuls.
There are also different of supplements that will have a combination of various herbs all in one capsul. It is best to talk to some one at a vitamine shop or health food store. They can tell you which suplements have a good record with their customers. The other thing one needs to consider is nutritional defficencies such as omega 3 & 6 oils & EPA/DHA oils.
Magnesium and calcium taken before bet time will have a calming effect. Vitamin B50 complex can also be very helpful to achive a sense of calm during the day !
Yoga and meditation is definatly a good way of dealing with any anxiety, especially if it is a chronic condition for you !
I encourage you to exame all your various contributers for your anxiety and make sure you talk it over with your Dr. to pin down the cause of it if it is still a mystery to you !
There is a book called, "Optimum Nutrition For The Mind, " by Patrick Holford. It is amazing what effects a lack of certain foods and nutrients can have on our emotional health.
Good luck to You !!!
Also Keep in mind different things work for different people & don't give up looking for alternatives but first and formost allways do the right thing for yourself even if it means straying of the path

I would suggest Bach Flower Remedies. Anxiety comes in many forms, so for times when you are feeling immense mental anxiety and putting on a brave face, try Agrimony. If you feeling fear of something but you are not sure what, then try Aspen. When you are feeling extreme anguish, they Sweet Chestnut, and for niggling worries and anguish try White Chestnut. Go to a natural health shop and seek advice on how to use.

Well, I have read that an herb called Damiana helps with depression and anxiety, but if you want the pure herb I believe you have to be 18, but you can also buy Damiana capsules. I am not of age to buy, but if I could I would. But right now I take lexapro, which is working, but it has not completely gone away.

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life
