My husband has been on Clomid and HCG and his recent analysis indicates he has 4 times the normail sperm count. A Urologist today said that it could in fact inhibit conception because of the sperms fighting each other. Anyone ever hear of something like this before?

Find a new doctor, one with a degree and not a quack.

That is the Biggest BS I ever heard. Why would a doctor say that..... There is millions of sperm when a man ejaculates. Why would 4 times more than normal be bad when only 1 is needed to make a baby. I think he has a healthy system if that is the case. The only think I can think of is that it could overwork the testies. But I highly doubt it since the men produce sperm for the rest of their lives.

I never heard of sperm fighting each other they don't even have the capability to do so. LOL
