This is certainly NOT the physics question, but I'll answer it anyway:
If x and y vary inversly then their product is constant: yx = k
So, first we have x1 = 6 and y1 = 2, k = x1 y1 = 12.
Then, x2 = 36 and x2 y2 = 12, y2 = 12 / 36 = 1 / 3 (d)
You can also get this from another angle:
if y varies inversly as x it means that if x increases n-times then y dicreases by the same. First you have x = 6 and then x = 36, so this means that x was increased by the factor 6, then y has to be decreased by the same factor, so 2 : 6 = 1/3.

d. inversely => y=a/x so a=y*x=12. for x=36 y=12/36=1/3
