What do you think "approved" means on an admissions status check? It means you're accepted. Congrats. Now wait for the letter so you have it in writing and make sure to send in your check to confirm your acceptance and hold your place in the upcoming year.

I am getting the same message.It says I may have made a mistake but I didn't.I also checked my moms.We both qualify for a rebate check that is supposed to be here by next friday may 9.

If it says that congratulation on your approved admission to our university...or something like that then youre approved than you are accepted. but if you applied to one of those universities in california the results often come out during march though

Sounds like you are approved for admission ....Get ahold of the Admissions department of your university for clarification ........ This assumes that you submitted all your required documents ACT / SAT ..high school transcripts etc.........
