Umm not all lesbians dress the same, and your size do not determine your lesbianism...(if thats a word).....They need to talk about your inmature ways, but if that does not work then sleep with them and prove them wrong.

You did say that You wanted the answers to only come from "honest Men, didn't You? What a good way to get the ratbag misandric feminazis to voice Their anti-male diatribes. To be perfectly honest with You, I have not started any "lesbian" rumours about You (or, for that matter, anyone else), but thanks for casting the aspersion that that is all Men have time to do. Your question does make Me wonder why You should think that only a Male would make this accusation? "Some guy"? Proof would be a nice way to show Your sincerity. If You know it was a man then confront Him.You say that "everyone knows" that You are not a lesbian. Well it would appear to be patently obvious that someone does not know it to be a fact. As far as it being obvious that You are neither gay or bisexual (according to Your vital statistics and fashion tastes) that is something which is neither obvious nor substantiated. By a "T" shirt and print on it:
"I am not a lesbian!" "It is not true!"
"And, I find the accusation to be offensive!"
Then wear it around town. I will guarantee that You are bound to receive a few comments. It will give You a chance to discuss Your views on political correctness, homophobia and sexist propaganda.

I can't answer why guys in general would always start rumors about you, but I can tell you from experience that these things sometimes come from people who view you as competition. For instance, in political arenas, one person might start such a rumor to cast an unfavorable light on a candidate. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, it just makes someone look bad publicly and helps their candidate look better. It's sad that people do things like these and hurt others, but it's how people are... not just men. If it's a friend, they may not like you to be friends with someone they know. If it's a co-worker, maybe they think you might be getting a promotion that they can't earn... so they discredit your character so they appear more favorable.
The important thing for overcoming rumors is to be honest and straightforward with people. Just be yourself and if you're not a lesbian, other people well see it. Just remember, actions speak louder then words.

Body shape & eye colour don't have anything to do with it, however hair styling might. Not that I think long brown hair indicates either way.
The clothes you wear might have something to do with it; if you dress differently to most people, they will assume you are not like most people, and the shout of 'lesbian' is an obvious one.
Most likely though, is that someone remembers the last rumour and spreads it around again. Ignoring it is about all you can do.

A lot of guys, if you don't jump in the sack with them, will start rumors like that.
I had those rumors started about me too, in Salt Lake City, Utah, I have 4 kids and I have been with a few guys, women are not my type. I also have more men friends than women, but because I would,'t have anything to do with this guy, he started the rumors.
Let them fly, was the attitude I got. When they are talking about me, they are leaving the rest of the world alone.

Have you turned them down for a date?
Men usually start those type of rumours after being rejected. Some men don't like to admit that they have been hurt by a rejection, so they say those sort of things.
p.s. where are you? Fancy a date?

Don't ask. I don't know. And yeah ... he wanted me bad. But I didn't have an *** .... so I don't know what the point was.
Yeah ... he wants you.

Some guys are so full of themselves, that they assume you must be lesbian, because you won't make out with THEM. Don't sweat it, there's worse things people could say- and I know a bunch of lesbians, they aren't bad people.
