Which movies(series) were the best, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, 48 Hours, Rambo, or Commando?

I liked Lethal Weapon...

Lethal Weapon was best. It paired an energetic but slightly unstable white guy (Mel Gibson) with a very stable, responsible family man (Danny Glover). While Gibson's character was kind of crazy, you felt for him. You knew he was hurting from the death of his wife. He was a good person and he had his dog. The comedy came from the differences in Gibson's and Glover's styles but the strength came from their similarities: d@mned fine cops, dedicated and doing their jobs!

Die Hard was good, too, but no way could Bruce Willis match the Gibson/Glover combo. Rambo highlighted the plight of America's vets, some of which don't get the help they need, and the prejudices that exist. It was good because it was "the little guy" fighting back and kicking @ss. Commando was very one dimensional and I know I saw 48 hourst but now can't remember a thing about it so it must not have been that good.

It has to be Lethal Weapon or Die Hard, because my husband has watched both of them a gozillion times. I almost know the scripts by heart.

Die Hard all the way. I can remember the plots much easier for the Die Hard movies than all the rest.

The Die Hard series. Bruce Willis is just about the only actor who can bring comedy into heart-pounding terrorist scenes and get away with it.
