Anna Nicole Smith's Death?

Am I the only one who's devastated by Anna's death, why am I so shoked and saddened? I don't even know or respect her? But feel real sad by her passing, feel sad for her life, the way she chose to live it? Why?

You feel sad & shocked because no matter what choices she made in her short life to bring her to that fateful day, under neath it all, the fame, the shame, the gossip, the scandles, she was still a human being just like the rest of us, TO NOT FEEL SHOCKED AND SADDEND at the loss of a person so young, can only be described as cold, deep down I believe that the choices she made, were made out of a deep longing for love and acceptance, so many people focus on her being a gold digger, but no one seems to understand the happiness she bought to an old man who thought his time to love was long gone, at the end of the day if he changed his will to provide for his wife and not his children, whether right or wrong it was his choice. Anna-Nicole led, (what seems to us) a very volatile life with drama after drama, for what, she lost her husband, she lost her son'and now she's lost her life, instead of everyone getting on board the lets throw mud at ANS bus, remember, a tiny little girl has lost her Mother, that has to be the saddest and most shocking part of all this, I guess the people who don't live in glass houses can be as spiteful as they wish, however I will remember Anna-Nicole as a lost soul who had maybe just found the happiness she craved from the birth of her beautiful baby girl, Anna-Nicole rest in peace with your son, your husband and enjoy the serenity and peace you now have, that was deprived from you in your young life, watch over your baby girl and hope she has the streangth she will need to cope without you.

I'm definitely not devastated, but I do feel a little bit sad. I always just wanted her to stop being on television, or at least for them to stop talking about her on CNN. I didn't want the poor girl to die.

I think we find celebrity deaths sad because those people are familiar to us, even if we don't like or respect them, and their passing reminds us of our own mortality.

Probably because you feel sorry for hearing about her son's death then she died and she has a daughter so later that will be hard on her. And the way she chose to live was her decision so don't beat yourself up about that. And I really think she committed suicide by over-dose on Xanax and Methadone and she was probably drinking with that, and while on Xanax it is very harmful!

I was very shocked to read the headline as well. It is a tragic end to a seemingly tragic life. I feel sad for her 5 month old baby.

I know what you mean...I signed on to check my email and saw the heading, I got goosebumps. I guess because she was so in the media, it's like you hear about her life and now she's dead. She did probably die of drugs, but she was still human.

What about her husband? Weird how both her and her son die.

I was also surprised. I fell sorry for her little baby girl, who won´t get to know her mother. Maybe she was happy the way she lived her life, we will never know. We cannot judge the way she lived, it was her life anyway.
