At your location, near St. Paul, MN (I'm assuming you're at 45 N, 93 W), at 6 PM, the moon is not in the sky. It will rise at about 12:30 AM, and set around 10 AM. At transit (5:15 AM), it will be about 24 and a half degrees off of the southern horizon.
