All I can see is that Britain has been and still is an open door to all, costing us lots of money in handouts etc. No use saying we need the workers for we would not have such a large population to cater for or the need for so much housing. Seems to me Britain is the only member to abide by EU rules where other countries just ignore them but take the handouts. Just look at the wonderful roads and motorways in Spain built with EU money. We have been waiting for an A6 bypass here in Stockport for the last 45 years and it is still not built.

Presumably, we are using the term "Europe" as in the European Economic Community.

If so, what is the problem? The EC is the best way to secure a peaceful future for our children and their children.

After all, what are countries other than lines drawn on a map

the thing with the exspansion of europe is its voluntary countries ask to join then the current members vote to allow them in. any government can remove there country at any time. and though some members wish to increase its role its still largely just a trading group. i dont see a problem with it
