Google Mail is available to anyone with a web-browser that can access the Google Mail website. Now, opening an account can only be done with obtaining an invite code which is possible if you have a SMS-capable cell phone in the following countries:
* Australia
* Indonesia
* Malaysia
* New Zealand
* The Philippines
* Singapore
* Thailand
* Turkey
* United States

not sure but if you are wanting an invite go to www.bytetest.com and you will get one there
