When you are feeling down and struggling with some somewhat minor medical issues, have no friends, a dysfunctional family who is non-supportive and because you work from home, you don't have any co-workers to talk to. And you sort of feel you've dumped on your spouse enough.
Who can I turn to to vent, get things off my chest, get some feedback, and find encouragement?
I don't need a therapist- I'm just having a lousy day and wish I had someone to vent with.

Aren't I in too lousy of a mood to talk to God? I'm afraid I'd be whiny, complainy and sound like a big baby,

Don't worry! Psalm 34:18 says that GOd is near to the broken hearted and saves the contrite in spirit. He LIVES to make you feel assured when you're in moods like this one. Talk to him, cry out to him, sound as whiny and teary as you need to to him. Cast your cares on Him for He cares for you. We do, too.
Big mushy *H U G* to you!!

Hi. I've been in this situation before and have always found that this is the best way to deal with it. Talking to people, even strangers over the internet helps get the problems off your chest. You could also try making new friends by goin out more and speaking to everyone. Usually when i've had a really **** day i'll do lots of exercise until i'm totally exhausted. It release endorphins which increase your happy factor making you feel better. Hope this was of help.

This is a good source. (= I used to vent my feelings out on paper. That way I can say whatever I want without any consequences and sometimes venting is all I need to make me feel better. Try not to vent on your hubby all the time and give him a break for a week or something. Give him a compliment every now and then for listening to you. Good Luck!

Sorry that you are feeling bad. You should write things down....this will help you to understand your feelings. You can try to make friends, but know if you make a friend based on your misery, you will never be happy. You need an activity or hobby to get you out of the house to make you not feel so trapped and alone when you work from home.

I talk to God all the time in the times of trouble and when Im happy. He walks with me daily. You can always get on your knees and pray and talk to him as though he was sitting there with his arm around you supporting you and listening to your every word without judging you. To know that there is someone who looks after you is amazing thing To have faith in something you cannot explain really shows alot about someone. Good luck!

wow..thats a tough case right ther..i get how u feel tho. when u truly have absolutely nobody that u can talk 2, the best thing 2 do is 2 let it all out. go into ur room and cry a few hours, throw things, wutever it takes to make u feel better.
if that isnt an option either tho,
then tell ur spouse xacly wut u just posted here, he/she will probably understand.
im sorry ur going through such a tough time.. =[

Well you can go into yahoo chat rooms and talk about your problems and heck if you wanna get into an argument with someone while your in there you can do that too, and when they really start to make you mad or when you start to get under their skin you can go into a different chat room..
