Yeah! That was one of those songs that my uncles sang when I was a child. I remembered I kept asking why do the man want the wife to tie yellow ribbon on tree lol

Another one that bring lots of memory is Rhinestone Cowboy by Glen Campbell.

My parents were never really into music and as a child there was only one set of tapes in our house, it was a box set called "The Giants of Country" I thought that was all the music in the world, I do not think I knew any better until I was about 10!
Anytime we all get together, you can guarantee there will be at least one rendition of Dolly Parton Crystal Chandelier and it never fails to bring a tear to my eyes and a smile to my face.

Anything by Neil Diamond. My mother would play him all the time. Also The Carpenters" Rainy Days And Mondays". And just like the girl said above, "Puff The Magic Dragon". But I am old enough to remember it playing on the radio.

Puff the Magic Dragon, I wasn't actually born in the seventies, I'm fifteen, but when I was a kid my grandparents had a video of Puff helping Jackie Draper talk again...oh man, that was awesome stuff. Just a few weeks ago I managed to locate it on Youtube and it definitely made me smile.

I used to be an angelic little choirboy Hehe so Treble solos really move me like Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring or Pie Jesu. Also the Nunc Dimittus but that one makes me sad. Lovely to hear though. You can find them on youtube.

Tie a Yellow Ribbon does for me as well, partly because it;s a song from my childhood, and partly because my dad used to sing it, among other songs, when he would play his guitar at home.
