its 128 megabytes and it wont let me save anything to it.

Try right-clicking on the drive's icon in My Computer and select "format". That may work.

try to format it. go to my computer, right-click the drive, click format, then click start.
remember to backup important data first
if it still doesn't work, the flash drive is probably defective.

it is probably because you removed the drive with removing the software from the machine
