I might be acting paranoid but could anyone get one- even kids?

Almost everyone who sells guns online insists on only shipping to a licensed dealer. So, you have to find a dealer to transfer the gun through and do the paperwork for a small fee. Kid's cannot legally buy guns online.

No. It depends on the state as to the age limitations. All states and online dealers require at least two forms of ID and the weapon is not sent to the person buying it. It must go to a Federal Licensed Dealer to actually transfer the gun. Not perfect but the best we have right now.

A gun purchased 'on-line' must be shipped to someone with a federal firearms permit, (gun dealer) then the purchaser must pick up the gun in person from that gun dealer. Of course that is after filling out paper work and waiting the appropriate time period.
So it isn't as simple as it may seem.

No you must be 21 years old and in order to buy it online it still has to be shipped to a licensed gun dealer.

You can't buy a gun without a background check and waiting period. Furthermore, if you buy it online, you must have it shipped to an 01 FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer and pick it up in person.

you need to be 21 . someone older than 21, who can buy the handgun, and then have that handgun transferred to you.
