How do I add text to an existing PDF application form? I have Professional 6.0.?

Go to http://www.download.com and search for PrimoPDF.
This is fantastic freeware that helps you with you PDF needs.

I believe you can alter texts in the newer versions of Adobe Reader however if this is not possible for you all you have to do is highlight the text and copy it to the clipboard. Then paste to a new WORD file and make all the changes you need. When finished click FILE > PRINT and select the PrimoPDF from the list of printers. This will generate a new PDF file from the WORD document.

as far as i know pdf forms cannot be altered, sorry
