first of all do it when the engine is cold! open the hood and check the levels in both the radiator and the overflow jug, add enough to the overflow jug to bring the level up to the full line then fill your radiator, then start the engine and get it hot then look on the ground for leaks, if it is leaking fix the leak, and haul your rear back to the store and spend another $9.00 and get another jug, then repeat the process

If very little is needed you can add it straight into the radiator or pour equal amount of water and the antifreeze, ideal mixture in system should be 50/50. Car should be cold and rad full, the overflow container will have a mark for cold level, add there as well if it needs.

You dont apply it. You pour it into your radiator. You need to mix it with water with a 1:1 ratio, once you do that it is then called coolent and you pour the coolent into your radiator which is located in the front section underneath your hood. Unscrew the cap, it will be round prolly black or silver. Do this while your car is turned off.

Good luck!

Apply?! You don't "apply" antifreeze. You put it in the radiator to keep your fluids from freezing up! Your Mom is very smart!

Thank God I live in Miami and don't have to worry about all this freezing-cars stuff!
