I have signed up for surveys and they are supposed to pay you and they don't. Or they want you to pay them to do surveys.

I've listed most of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or received other rewards like gift cards or CD'S) on the following webpage:

http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys

But there are a lot of scams out there. I've written a short guide on how to spot survey scams--you might be interested in it:

Here are two other sites which are very helpful
http://www.surveypolice.com/
(rates surveys)
http://ripoffreport.com/
(scam reporting site)

I'd be interested to know which sites you took surveys for that didn't pay you. I've been thinking of a making a "scam watch" list of surveys which have ripped people off. My e-mail is on the site.

Some people make some money at it but not as much as the companies tell you you can make. It ends up being pocket change. You are lucky to get your sign up fee back. If you want a free online business go to http://ewebsmith.com . If you want an online job go to one of these places
