Despite the collective idiocy expressed by far too many so called "experts" with opinions, the Executive is limited in the actions he or she can take!
The war that President Bush launched against the regime of Saddamn Insane was authorized by the same Congress that then blocked the needed funds!
Even so, President Bush achieved a very successful victory and the Regime fell if anything, too quick. The success also played out in the fact that the conflict did not spread as feared, until Iraq was able to form it's own Government that holds the blame for the Chaos that followed!
They simply NEVER should have formed a Muslim State! The inclusion of Religion and the inherent problems associated with it are what has allowed all of the problems to occur!
The Dimobrats unfortunately control Congress and as such, the President is ham-strung when it comes time for any additional authority to deal with any other Military threats-until we have been attacked and the ostriches finally come to realize that standing with your head down in the sand is just too tempting to a Guy with weird eyes like Ahmadinejad!
Yeah, that's right Libbies, just bend over---and let Ahmadinejad show you where the wild goose goes!

Lets face it, we are at the beginning of the downfall of the American Empire. The administration has done everything wrong that they could do to stem terrorism. First they accuse a bunch of Saudis malcontent, then attack Iraq and Afghanistan. There wasn't an Iraki or an Afghani in 9/11 all Saudis. They have done more to help OBL recruit and become more popular than all the Arabic country could have done. They can't afford to attack Iran, and now Iran is getting ready to annilhate any army foolish enough to try and invade Iran. These people have been at war their whole history. Saddam couldnt conquer them, and he did a lot worse to them than we ever would. The only way to win this is really a no win situation. Nuke 'em first, make a parking lot out of the place, this pres. has no appetite for that.

I certainly hope he doesn't do anything. Hasn't he gotten enough Americans killed already.
Don't give me any crap about Iran being a threat. 98% of the world sees the US as the biggest and scariest threat out t
here.
Bush said that Iraq was with Alcida and was the biggest threat out there. Don't get me wrong, I think that Saddam was as big an AHole as Bush. That doesn't give us the right to go there and kill their people, or loose ours in the process.

I believe so as well. Iran is scared and is already threatening to attack US interests if we invade. Korea is now negotiating to disarm their nuclear programs. Bush would never sink down to the level the democrats are on. He likes to take action rather than sit around and debate until it becomes pointless and the people forget about it. Very good president. I knew there was a reason I voted for him.

i think bush has no insight into the amount of chaos he has created in international politics with his egomaniacal policies. he has no respect for other countries' history or culture. he will back down.

Backing down is not in President Bush's lexicon. Either Iran backs down or they will blow up. My guess is the latter.

I hope Bush stays strong and backs Iran down.
We don't want to take them over, just get them to stop fomenting violence and building nukes.
