I think he's having second thoughts. He chicked out of the Dem forum in Nevada in Feb. Another one bites the dust.

Barack Obama (not Osama) is probably doing his job in the Senate. He is still in the election. And, by the way, he won his seat with the middle name Hussein in Illinois with 70% of the vote.

His chances are good. As long as he stays out of trouble and avoids scandals.

However, it's a very long time until Nov. 2008.

Barack Obama is making his formal announcement on this coming Saturday in Springfield, IL.

EDIT: Oops, I just realized that sounded like an opinion, it isn't. They announced it on the local Chicago news channels last night. Big rally is being planned and he will announce his run this Saturday.

This is a set-up if I ever saw one. The Dems were so desperate to come up with a new face they dragged him out from under a rock someplace and he hadn't even been thinking of running. It's a blatant example of crooked politics. All those rallies with everyone shouting "Obama! Obama! OBAMA!!" were all hired set-ups and remided me of the Nazi Nuremburg rallies of 1938. It's so phony it stinks to high heaven. What's even more stupid is all these people who look at Obama and their eyes glaze over and they turn instantly stupid. The whole charade is a dusgusting farce.
