I am trying to make my internet window larger. I tried the 'zoom' key and it made it a tiny bit bigger, but it is still only about half the size of the screen, how do I make it bigger???? Thanks

The green button varies from app to app. Its original purpose it "fit to content" - meaning the window will resize to most efficiently display the content of what you're looking at.

This button can be made by the developer to make a window go full-screen though.

Sometimes it just makes the window resize to its vertical maximum.

Moral of the story: don't depend on the green button to make your windows full-screen. As someone else pointed out, drag the bottom right hand corner of the window to resize it to what you want.

As an aside: Mac applications generally don't go full screen because Mac makes good use of drag and drop. In most cases you can drag and drop text from one app to another. In Terminal you can drag a file or folder from Finder into the Terminal window to complete the path to it.

Right where the two scrolling bars are with the up/down arrows at the bottom right hand corner. Hold that, drag to your right and you can make it larger.
Good for you fro getting a Mac.

I also have a mac and it is unquestionably much less complicated than you think of. on the decrease appropriate hand corner of the window there are 3 lines (so which you would be conscious of which corner). in simple terms click on that and drag it to make your window the needed length which you somewhat elect.
