Ok, today I was driving doing the speed limit and when I had gotten to the light a guy in front of me had stop, in front of traffic. So I had to turn into the other line (to avoid from hitting him). However, the car behind me beeps at me (like I had cut her off). Anyway, I beep back at her, because I did not cut her off (anyway she was speeding down the street and I look before I went into the other line). After, that she was made and upset so then she tried to speed up and cut me off but that’s when I started speeding up and then went into another lane. When she finally caught up to me she had slam on her breaks and rolled down the window and start talking trash. While I was looking at her she was pointing at the car in front of me. The car in front of me had stop and my car was rolling a little bit towards the car (and that's when I tap it) I then look back at her and rolled down my window and park the car and got out (when I had made a full stop that's when she pulled off). After 5-10 sec’s I caught up with her and there was two cars in front of me. After a little while the cars had made their turns and that’s when I was behind her (she must of knew that it was me, because that’s when she had started to speed up) when I have gotten to the light with her again I was stopping but then that’s when she pulled off and made her turn. So anyway what would you have done and what do you think about the situation?

You've just made a full confession of road rage. In some states, you'd be fined, regardless of who "started it".

If it were me, I would have noted the other driver and her behavior and gotten rid of her. This can be done in a number of ways, usually just by allowing them to pass and then taking another route.

If it were bad enough, and I thought there was reason to feel endangered, I would have taken the license number, make and model and called the cops.

Never forget that your car weighs a minimum of 3000 pounds and IS A LETHAL WEAPON. If you can't be careful while you're driving, you don't deserve your license.

Simple as that.

Don't wait for someone to die before you realize you're out of control.

Its called road rage- even though she beeped at you, what I would have done is ignore her, and continue on to my destination. If she had cut you off, and hit you in the process, then she would have been at fault, and possibly charged with road rage- however you also engaged in a bit of road rage yourself, by speeding to catch up with her, and antaginizing the situation even more. Better to let them go then end up dead

I think you need to control your road rage, a lot of people these days carry guns with them, you know. what would you have done if she'd pulled one out and shot you?

Just ignore dumb a**holes on the road and don't become one yourself.

It isn't worth the potential headache.

I would have just ignored her, but then you wouldn't have that great story to tell.
