I'm writing a report to try and persuade people to watch a certain news company. Here at UW-P we can only pick up Fox News and CNN news. So here is what I would like you to do for me. Post what party you support from Republicn or Democrat. And which news station you would prefer to watch Fox news or CNN news. Thank you a lot and I appreciate it.

NOTE: Please don't respond saying I'm neither rep or dem. Also don't respond saying I wouldn't watch either. I'm not including that in my essay, so I don't need to know it. I just wanna know which one you would watch before the other. Thank you again.

We live in a funny world where comedians seem to bring about a lot of progress in society.

Michael Richards recently went nuts about *******. Suddenly, after his ranting, many black civil rights leaders took a strong, decisive and very public stand against the use of the N-word, including condemning it in the hip-hop community. Why then and not before? Is the society asleep? Did it really have to take Kramer for really serious measures to be taken against the attitudes/use of the N-word? It's ridiculous that political change depends on pple like Kramer!! Kramer!!!!???

Then comes Chris Rock and he says anyone who sides with republicans or democrats before they hear an issue is just plain stupid. I agree. I think deep down, we side with both republicans or dems depending on the issue.

So, would I encourage anyone to watch only conservative or liberal TV? No. I say, watch both because the truth lies somewhere between the two extremes.

But society needs to discuss issues openly without fear and not wait for Kramer to tell us that the N-word (and other dinegrating issues) are destructive to society. Are there intelligent and brave pple out there other than comedians??

I'm a republican leaning independent. I watch both CNN and Fox (among several other news stations) at least once a day each. I prefer Fox's format. I ONLY watch pure news and don't watch the "talking head" shows from either network. I can draw my own conclusions, thank you.
