what do i need to do to start getting leamons this year an is their anything speciel to do for it?

I assume you purchased it from a nearby nursery. Talk to the people at the nursery about watering schedules, fertilization and if there's a need for another tree for cross pollination. Some trees need cross pollination and some don't. The nursery you bought the tree from should be able to guide you in this.

I trust your in a warm climate and you might want to water well for a few days and maybe a little fertilizer when it's roots are being to take hold. Most plants need a second plant of the same species so that they can pollinate in order to get fruit.

You can google the words "Meyer's lemon" and get literally hundreds of results. My advice to you is to go to Barnes and Noble or some other bookstore to search for books about citrus trees and bushes (Meyer's is actually a bush). You can also call one of your local plant nurseries and ask the nurserymen questions about caring for them. All citrus plants have their requirements for fruit production. If they aren't being met it could take years for them to produce fruit.
