Whirlpool over the range microwave is making 'plopping' 'thumping' sounds. Any idea what is wrong??

Are you saying you have a microwave oven over your range top? Possibly with a vent in it and it's making this noise. Are you running the microwave or the vent or nothing and it's making this noise. Sounds like it may be ready to blow up, or maybe your just cooking something in the microwave oven, I can't tell from your post.

Sounds like your rotating dish is not sitting or locked in center of coupling that turns it.
