I would download the following applications:

Windows Defender (Anti-Spyware): www.microsoft.com.
AVG Antivirus (Free Edition): www.grisoft.com.

First, update your computer via Windows Update. Then, run and install Windows Defender and AVG Antivirus. Update them fully, and schedule some automatic, weekly or daily scans at times that are convenient for you. THEN, RUN A SCAN with each application. This should detect something bad on your PC.

Continue to run the security programs afterward. If this method fails, either use the free online Trend Micro scanner or the free scanner available from Panda Security Software. Search Google for the URLs of these.

To prevent future malware infestations of any type, avoid weirdo websites, like those featuring inappropriate content, and be careful what you download. Always scan downloaded files by right-clicking on them after you download them and selecting "Scan with AVG Free" from the menu. NEVER let your browser, be it Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, or something else, automatically open files after download!

Finally, I would recommend that you download the free-for-non-profit-use ZoneAlarm Firewall Basic, available at www.zonealarm.com. This is a product far superior to Windows' built-in Windows Firewall, and it will protect you from inbound and outbound attacks and unauthorized PC contact with malicious hackers.

You have 2 options at this point: 1. reformat the hard drive and then reinstall your operating system. 2. Take it to a computer repair service. The problem you are having is extreme and your options are limited. I had a similar problem and ended up having to reformat. Know now however, reformatting erases everything on the hard drive, so hopefully, you backed up everything to an external disk or storage. Good luck, that's a tough issue.

use panda antivirus 2007 although its a month trial it removes all spyware and viruses alerting u when it detects one. It also only does those two things and nothing else which is all u need.

Try AVG (grisoft.com) they have a free virus and spyware program that's pretty good, for free. I'v been using for a couple of months and haven't had a problem yet.
