the 3 point contest is kinda silly. Its really just getting lucky enough to get into the final round and hoping you make a few more.
Last year i believe ray allen made 20+ in the first round but the in the 2nd round only made about 16.
While dirk made barely passing in the first round and won the championship.
The 3 point contest isn't just about who can shoot the 3 the best (jason kapono currently with his 54% 3pt average) but who can do it quickly and well.
I think Gilbert arenas has the best shot at winning this. Just look at his video on youtube.

he makes 82 out of 100 college line 3 pointers with one hand! This guy is a beast.
Its going to be Jason Kapono, Gilbert, Mike Miller in the final rounds. Damon jones is a JOKE. the guy can't shoot 3's for his life this year, he's just doing this competition for the attention.

The West will win the All-Star game, they just have so much more talent. 3-point contest will be Dirk again Dunk Contest, I'll say Howard-not that anyone really cares anymore, what happened to the stars being in the dunk contest? It was so much better when you actually recognized the players! Skills Challenge would've been Nash, but with him out I'm going with Lebron. Shooting Stars, Chicago. I don't know any of the WNBA players but Gordon and Pippen seem like the best current and former star combo.

damon jones is a truck! dirk can't shoot unless he's coming off a screen or got a hand in his face! gilbert is an all around player who will never win this type of competition! terry's shot is not the truth! mike miller is going through an identity crisis! this leaves the undisputed '07 champ mr. jason kapono. look at his form and touch. no fancy wrapping just straight in your face shooting!
