federal law says you need to be at least 16 to work anywhere. in most states, you will also need to get a worker's permit from the department of social services because at that age (or if you're under 18 in general), there are certain restrictions that workplaces are required to abide by. you are also not allowed to cook in a restaurant if you're under the age of 18.

truly the only type of work that can say you are too young to work there is if the place serves alcohol, in which cases, you can work as long as you it is minimally possible for you to come in contact with the alcohol. age discrimination is illegal.

14 is to young u nust be atleast 16. good luck on getting a job

If your 14 - 16 you MIGHT be able to talk your way into a job. Better act confident. Good luck you have more ambition than a lot of my relatives your age. Again, good luck!
